According to Dennis Williams, President of the United Auto Workers union, the UAW wants to partner with Donald Trump in the renegotiation of NAFTA. Despite the UAW publicly supporting Hillary Clinton through the election, it ultimately agrees with Trump's positions on trade and infrastructure. Approximately 32% of United Auto Workers members voted for Trump in the election.
