Workplace Bullying, A Form Of Violence Pursued Under Title VII
Approximately twenty-seven percent of adults in the United States have experienced bullying at work. Workplace bullying usually is not physical and it is much less noticeable than other forms of bullying. Bullying at work can take many forms, including: disrespect, interference, withholding feedback, discrimination, social isolation, intimidation, withholding resources, and devaluation. The United States currently lacks proper legislation and procedure to investigate and mediate workplace bullying. Workplace bullying is currently pursuable under Title VII's anti-discrimination laws, but no specific legislation on the issue exists
