Andrew Puzder, Trump's Labor Pick, Admits to Hiring Undocumented Maid
President Trump's chosen Labor Secretary Andrew Puzder is facing backlash after admitting yesterday that he had hired an undocumented immigrant as his housekeeper for several years. Puzder stated that he fired the worker and offered to help her achieve legal status after learning that she was undocumented, and then paid back taxes. Puzder's confirmation is already facing delay as he works to extract himself from his position as CEO of CKE restaurants. Puzder has also failed to hand in standard disclosures to the Senate committee. Several of President Trump's other nominees have also admitted to hiring undocumented workers in the past.
