The Inside Story of Why Take Your Daughter to Work Day Exists
Tomorrow is national "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day", but many do not know where the tradition came from. It was started by the Ms. Foundation for Women during the early 1990s as a way to inspire young girls to achieve higher paying and higher profile jobs. Time magazine interviewed Marie C. Wilson, one of the women who helped kickstart the program.
