21,000 AT&T Wireless workers could strike Monday
The Communications Workers of America has notified AT&T that approximately 21,000 of its employees could walkout on Monday. The CWA states that the telecommunications giant has eliminated 12,000 domestic call center positions and outsourced them to countries like Mexico and India. AT&T brought back 3,000 outsourced jobs in March after negotiating with workers at A&T Southwest, but the CWA says recent negotiations have stalled.
