Benefits that employees want cover more than medical care
The Families and Work Institute has issued an analysis of the 2002 National Study of the Changing Workforce, providing suggestions for small businesses on how better money management can allow for more benefits provision, and how smarter benefit selections can save money. Noting that many lower-paid workers are employed by businesses small enough to have difficulty providing benefits, the Institute claims that addressing that conundrum can lead to more satisfactory relationships between workers and employers.
