Federal mediator talking with both sides today
A federal mediator from the National Labor Relations Board will sit down today with officials from Grumman Ship Systems' Ingalls Operations and union leaders in Pascagoula, Mississippi, the first meeting since workers went on strike on March 8th. The meeting is meant to determine what workers want in a new contract, having rejected two previous proposals from the company.
