Board of Screen Actors Guild Backs Negotiators? Demands
The board of the Screen Actors Guild has supported its negotiators' positions at the bargaining table over control of internet content. The negotiators want Hollywood studios to provide greater internet content control to the actors. The supportive action, which represents a form of guidance to negotiators, pushes the board?s weight behind negotiators? demands that union actors be used in shows created for the Internet and be paid when ad-supported content is shown free.
