Anti-47 goal not met by business
Businesses in Colorado have missed their deadline to raise $3 million in an effort to keep four pro-labor amendments off of the November 4 ballot. The fundraising was part of a deal with labor unions that would've seen the money used to battle three ballot measures that the unions find unacceptable. Despite the missed deadline, the businesses have pledged to keep raising money until their commitment has been met.
