NYC mayor grilled in discrimination suit
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is potentially involved in a lawsuit accusing his company of discriminating against women. Bloomberg is a financial data and news service. The mayor was questioned privately yesterday at his attorney's office. The suit alleges discrimination against about 60 women, specifically after they took maternity leave. Although the mayor is no longer the chief executive officer of the company, he does own a 68% stake in it. City Hall has not commented, while the company maintains that the claims are false.
