Children lead protest for fired Hyatt workers
Fifth graders from a Boston area school protested the firing of 98 housekeepers from a Hyatt hotel last summer. The students read a statement and gave a petition with about 200 signatures to a hotel worker, to be passed along to the hotel manager. A teacher for the school said that the school supports workers rights and wanted to show support for the workers. No managers were available to talk to the students and the hotel chain did not comment on the demonstration.
