Administration Says Stimulus Has Worked
While admitting that the impact of the stimulus plan on the economy in the fourth quarter of 2009 than it had been earlier in the year, a report from the President's Council of Economic Advisers made the case that the nation's economy is in better shape at year's end than if the government had not intervened. The report offered similar analyses from other sources in support of its claims, and posited that the economy -- while still troubled -- was definitely headed towards recovery.
