SAG-AFTRA board Oks feature-primetime contract
Leaders of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Artists voted on Saturday to approve a three-year master contract for film and primetime television, and SAG leaders also tentatively agreed to three deals for basic cable live-action, primetime, and television animation. The current contact expires on June 30. Both SAG's 120,000 members and AFTRA's 70,000 will have to approve the deal for it to go into effect. Ballots are expected to be mailed out in the next week or so, and will be due around mid-January.
