Dutch postal company TNT says that it has reached an agreement with the union that represents its mail workers. The union has struck seven days over the past month, and was planning a four day strike for the week prior to Christmas. The disagreement was over job cuts due to the decreased mail volume. The deal still has to be ratified by members, and though union leaders say that they are confident the deal would be ratified, the workers have rejected previous deals. TNT employs around 160,000 workers in over 200 countries.
