Unions endorse successor plan
The leaders of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists have agreed on a three year deal for industrial and educational broadcast materials. SAG made the announcement on Sunday and said that voting on the agreement would begin May 9 and end June 8. The deals were reached on March 31, and are retroactive to May 1. The agreements include a 2% increase effective May 1, and another 2% increase on Nov 1 of 2012, as well as an increase in employer contributions to health care.
