The National Labor Relations Board was criticized for allowing unions and workers to display signs, dress in costumes and use other tactics to protest against employers. Employers, speaking in front of a House subcommittee, say that the Board is siding with employees over employers, and is going beyond its mission. The employers say that the Board is helping labor, and that their actions are not appropriate. Supporters of the NLRB say that many of their rulings regarding signs or protests were in line with First Amendment rights. The employers also brought up the Boeing case, in which the NLRB filed a complaint against the company, saying that they violated the law.
