London Underground pay offer rejected by the RMT
London Underground has offered the RMT union a 4.75% pay increase for workers, which is higher than previous offers. The Union rejected their proposal, claiming that in addition to the low pay raise, LU has ignored requests for improvements in working conditions and reduction in working hours. The union claims that the pay increase is not enough while LU believes that the offer would keep employee salaries on par with the inevitable increases in cost-of-living.
