Verizon workers may return to picket lines
Verizon workers say that they have not ruled out going back on strike. The Communications Workers of America, which represents the workers, says that there are still major disagreements between the parties, but that the union is willing to work with Verizon as long as the company actually bargains. Verizon workers struck for two weeks in August, and returned to the bargaining table. However, picketing will resume at Verizon stores tomorrow in an effort to convince consumers not to buy new iPhones until a contract agreement is reached.
