Some Managers Just Won't Take Advice
A new study finds that the more power employees have, the less likely they are to take advice from others. The study found that employees with more power felt more confident in themselves and their decisions, even when the advice they were receiving was helpful. The accuracy of final judgments decreased when employees did not take advice. The study also found that women were more likely to take advice than men.
