The British government may try to stop a national strike by challenging the unions in court. The strike, which will involve over 2 million public sector workers, is over changes to pensions. If the government can show that the strike is politically motivated rather than a trade dispute, it can get a court injunction to stop the strike. The strike, which unions are currently balloting members for, would take place on November 30.
