Workers' health Premiums Rose 63% in Seven Years, Study Shows
A new study shows that workers' health insurance premiums rose 63% between 2003 and 2010. The study found differences between states, but the overwhelming trend was for employers to shift costs onto employees. In addition to higher premiums, workers are also paying more for deductibles. If the same trend continues, costs would increase to almost $24,000 a year by 2020.
