Republican Might Quit Labor Board
The Republican member of the National Labor Relations Board has threatened to resign over proposed rule changes. The Board, which needs three members to implement the changes, would be unable to act without him. the proposed rule change would speed up unionization elections. The Board intends to implement the change on November 30, before the term of one of the two Democrats on the Board expires.
