Obama to Nominate Two to NLRB
The President intends to nominate two lawyers to the National Labor Relations Board. Without at least one new member of the Board, it will fall below the three-person quorum needed to make decisions and new rules. Obama nominated a lawyer from the Labor Department and the general counsel for the International Union of Operating Engineers. The nominations have to be confirmed by the Senate.
