Hostess asks judge to slash union obligations
Hostess, which declared bankruptcy earlier this month, has asked that a judge break its contracts with union members. The Teamsters, who represent workers at the company, said that the company was trying to get out of its obligations. Hostess asked a judge to change its health care and pension obligations to workers, saying that it was losing millions of dollars because of union contracts.
