Chinese leaders promise pay hikes, more jobs
On Wednesday, the Chinese government said that they would raise wages by 13% a year and implement measures to create millions of new jobs. China has seen a wave of worker protest and increased international scrutiny over the last few years. China has been losing some manufacturing, like clothes and shoes to countries with lower labor costs as the government attempts to change the economy to a higher-tech one.
