Employers are encouraging their employees to use drawings and other visual aids to explore new ideas and explain concepts to other employees. People say that doodling, and other forms of visual note-taking can help employees remain engaged in meetings, as well as retain the information later. Studies have found that those who doodle are often more focused and retain more from meetings. Companies say that visual tools can help people understand each others ideas and can increase collaboration.
