Bus drivers vote on Olympic strike
Thousands of British bus drivers will vote on whether to strike during the Olympic games this summer. Unite, which represents around 21,000 bus drivers said that it will ballot members next week. The union is asking for a 500 pound bonus due to the heavy increase in travel on buses expected this summer. Other transportation workers, including underground and rail workers, will receive extra payments. The city says that the bus drivers are employed by private companies and that Unite has to work with thsose companies.
