An Inside Job: More Firms Opt to Recruit From Within
More firms are looking within their company to find people to fill positions. Companies say that promoting talented workers, as well as investing in internal training leads to lower costs and higher performance. Some companies use internal systems to get an idea of the skills their employees have and to enable them to approach employees for new positions. Some research shows that people promoted from within firms have a greater success rate.
