California farm workers staged a one-day strike on Monday over lack of health insurance, overtime pay and better equipment. The 200 workers are in the process of going through a pre-election for a union to determine who would be eligible to vote in a union election. Workers say that they have held strikes in the past, but that the farm where they work has done nothing to meet them.
