Crystal Sugar, union returning to bargaining table
American Crystal Sugar and the union that represents its workers, who have been locked out by the company for more than ten months, will resume negotiations on Friday. It has been four months since the two sides have met. About 1,3000 workers have been locked out by the company, who is operating the plants with replacement workers. Workers say that they hope the company comes to the talks ready to negotiate, however American Crystal Sugar says that they do not plan on moving from their final offer.
