CP Rail Restarts Freight Network After Law Ends Strike
The Canadian Pacific Railway has restarted its freight services in Canada, after the government ended a week long strike by employees. The bill sends all of the unresolved issues between the two parties to binding arbitration, giving them 90 days to settle before the arbitrator makes a decision. For those who use the railway, the start-up is more than welcome, as they try to catch up with a lost week of shipping. The talks have been stalled around pensions and work rules.
