Norwegian Oil Worker Strike Continues
Norwegian oil workers say that they will continue their strike indefinitely after talks broke down on Wednesday. The 11 day strike is over demands for better pension benefits for workers. The strike has decreased oil output by 15%, and natural gas output by 7%, costing millions of dollars. The unions say that they will meet on Friday to decide whether to escalate the strike, and said that there are not more negotiations scheduled.
