Lockheed Workers Accept New Contract
Texas Lockheed Martin workers who have been on strike for the past two weeks have voted to accept a new contract. The four-year agreement includes age increases, choices on health benefits and other compensation changes. Workers had rejected previous agreements because of health and pension benefits. About 3,600 workers will return to work on Monday, where the company has been running the plants with temporary employees. Both sides said that they were pleased with the vote.
