U.K. Border Officials Threaten Strike
British border officials say that they will strike for 24 hours the day before the opening ceremonies. The government says that they will have extra army members on standby. The strike is expected to cause huge disruptions as people attempt to enter the country for the Olympics. Train drivers have also announced that they will strike for three days during the Olympics. Border officials say that the strike would be called off if the government acquiesced to their demands.
