About 50,000 Greek workers protested austerity measures in Athens on Tuesday, clashing with police. The protest was part of a general strike, the first for Greece's new government, and disrupted schools, flights and other services. The Greek government is in the process of creating a new group of spending cuts, based on pressure from foreign lenders. Workers say that there have already been too many cuts, and there is only so much the people will take.
