Hunger pay-nes: Starbucks docks workers' wages for taking lunch breaks
As Starbucks attempts to defend paying little to no taxes over the last 14 years in the United Kingdom, the chain is also facing criticism for cutting workers' pay for taking lunch breaks. The company says that they will begin changes that will lead to workers not being paid for time taken for lunch. The company says that the change will bring them into line with other retailers, and that changes were made with input from workers.
