Euro Zone Unemployment Hit New High in September
Data released on Wednesday showed a record number of unemployment in the Euro Zone. 18.49 million were unemployed in the 17-country union, raising the unemployment rate to 11.6%. Spain and Greece had the two highest levels of unemployment, at 25.8% and 25.1% respectively. Overall unemployment in the European Union was at 10.6% for September.
