Temp workers file class-action lawsuit against Wal-Mart over wages
Temporary Wal-Mart workers have filed a federal class-action lawsuit against the company. The workers say that Wal-Mart and its staffing agencies did not follow minimum wage rules, and required workers to skip breaks, show up early and stay late. The lawsuit claims that Wal-Mart did not keep accurate records of time worked or the documentation for federal and state labor laws. Wal-mart says that they are committed to their workers, and that the lawsuit is about publicity.
