Bangladesh clothing factory fire comes amid preparations to mourn other deaths
Days after a fire that killed more than 100 Bangladeshi garment workers, a fire broke out at another garment factory. The government said that no one died in the second fire. The government has called for a period of national mourning, and garment factories will be closed on Tuesday. They have also called for an investigation into the fire. Thousands of workers protested on Monday morning over the fire. About 6,000 people are killed by fires in Bangladesh every year. The garment industry has about 4,500 factories in the country.
