JFK Guards Set to Strike in Union Bid
Airport security guards at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York are threatening to walk out on December 20. The 300 workers are voting on whether to strike at the end of the week. They say that they want better training and equipment. The workers are looking to organize with a union, and while the private companies that employ them say they are open to negotiations, the union says that they have retaliated against workers who brought up concerns.
