Iberia unions call off December strike
Workers at Spanish airline Iberia have canceled a planned strike. The six-day strike, which was planned for the week before Christmas would have seriously disrupted travel in Spain. The union said that they have not reached an agreement, but that they did not want to harm passengers. They also said that they had not ruled out strikes after the holidays. The company announced in November that it was planning on cutting about a quarter of the company's workforce in order to make the company more competitive.
