ADP Says U.S. Companies Added 118,000 Workers in November
A new survey found that private employers added about 118,000 jobs in November, fewer than in October. Hurricane Sandy is thought to have brought down that number by about 86,000, as companies on the East Coast delayed hiring to recover from the storm. However, economists say that the number is good considering the storm, the presidential election and uncertainty over lawmakers' actions in the fiscal cliff debate.
