Indian workers return to work at Singapore construction site
Twenty-eight construction workers at a Singapore construction site returned to work after they were paid the salaries that they did not receive in November. The workers, all of whom are from other countries, stopped work over the unpaid wages. Some of the workers quit and returned home after receiving their wages. The work stoppage was the latest in a series of wage and working conditions disputes between foreign workers and their Singapore employers.
