Greek subway workers told: end strike or face arrest
The Greek government has ordered striking transportation workers to end their strike. The workers have been on strike for eight days to protest cuts, and the strike has caused huge transportation problems for Athens. The government order is under new emergency legislation and the workers say that they will not stop. They have already ignored a court order compelling them to return to work.
