Bank debt protests to continue, says Ictu
Irish workers protested on Saturday against austerity measures that they say are hurting the economy. Ireland agreed on Thursday to restructure loans to banks, a move that is expected to reduce the country's debt. The unions say that they do not want more austerity, and that it would only hurt future generations. Workers said that they had already paid enough, and that more measures would only hurt them.
