Samsung code of conduct put to test
Samsung is being sued by three French groups that claim the company has misled investors and customers about its business practices. The suits rest on reports of labor abuses in factories in China that supply products for the company. The reports that the lawsuits refer to say that plants use child labor and other practices that conflict with the company's code of conduct. Samsung has said in the past that it was confident its supplier factories met legal standards.
