Hong Kong Port Workers to Resume Talks as Strike Enters 15th Day
Hong Kong dockworkers are entering into their 15th day of striking. The workers will resume talks with their employers today in an attempt to reach an agreement. The 450 workers are demanding a 25% increase and better working conditions. The port is the 3rd largest container port in the world. The company that owns the port has said that they are encouraging the subcontractors who employ the workers to increase wages by 5% or more.
