Israel airline strike ends after govt, El Al forge deal
Israeli airline workers will return to work after a two-day strike protesting an open-skies agreement with Europe. The deal was approved on Sunday, and the government says that it will help El Al airline cover security costs to help keep the airline competitive. The workers were protesting against the bill, which they said could threaten their jobs. The agreement will be phased in over the next five years.
