Federal appeals court strikes down union notification requirement
A federal appeals court has ruled that employers cannot be required to post notices informing employees of their right to organize a union and bargain collectively. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said that the National Labor Relations Board had overstepped its authority. Earlier this year the same court said that recess appointments to the Board were illegal. The NLRB said that it was reviewing the ruling.
