Harmony CEO: Upcoming S Africa Gold Sector Wage Talks to Be Difficult
The head of Harmony Gold Mining company says that they expect South African wage talks to be very difficult this year. The National Union of Mineworkers, which represents some of the workers, has said that they want a wage increase of at least 10%. The company said that they hope the wage negotiations will include a basic salary and a wage-sharing component.
